3. Another great place to visit is Dinosaur Isle. This is one of the most unique and famous museums in the world. Paleontologists love to come here, but it also has mass appeal to people of all ages and interests. Officially the museum opened in 2001, and makes claim to being the first of it type anywhere in the UK.

4. One of the best places to visit for relaxation is Shanklin Chine, near to the Old Village of Shanklin. Many tranquil moments are guaranteed in this special place on the island. Here you will see rare varieties of vegetation and wildlife, and enjoy the motion of the waterfall.

5. The island is famous for its speedway team the Islanders which is a great attraction for locals and mainlanders alike. Every year, many race goers come here to see some great action.
