Critics Are Kind In The Other Guys Reviews

Friday was when the film “The Other Guys” came out. The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell and Steve Coogan. The “Other Guys” reviews so far are pretty positive. Ferrell and Wahlberg have done some bad movies lately although “The Other Guys” seems to be a good step for them. The film is directed by Adam McKay, who also directed other Ferrell films such as “Anchorman,” “Talladega Nights” and “Stepbrothers.”.

Old plot with new people in ‘The Other Guys’

In the movie, after shooting Derek Jeter by accident, a cop (Wahlberg) is given work that he is way too good for. He starts working on white collar crime with a new partner, Will Ferrell, who is an accountant in forensics. They get wise to an evil businessman (Steve Coogan) and his nefarious scheme and take him down. It is pretty funny to watch. It’s been done before, but each plot has been done. The actors make all the difference between a good movie and bad movie.

The movies reviews were good

There is a 79 percent rating for the movie on Rotten Tomatoes. In contrast, Ferrell’s last two films as an actor, “Land of the Lost” and “The Goods,” both got lower than 30 percent. 32 percent appears to be the most Wahlberg has gotten since 2007 in any film he’s starred in. Critics think the movie is idiotic humor although it is nevertheless good. As outlined by Kurt Loder from MTV, the movie is not all that smart but is a great comedy for summer.

Try watching it

This may be what you need if you would like a goofy comedy. Many Americans may just need this humorous movie with all the grim things happening within the economy.
