Whether you start dance classes as a child or an adult your first lesson may well be difficult. A lot of people feel nervous and fear letting themselves go in front of people that they don’t know, however once you have overcome your nervousness dance classes can be quite enjoyable and a great way in which to meet up with new people and get fit at the same time!
To conquer your first fears is to appreciate that everybody else in the class is probably feeling exactly the same way as you do. Have a look around the class and you’ll undoubtedly see the nervousness on other individuals faces and you will discover, after just a few minutes in the class that these fears will slip away and you’ll start to enjoy the class.
Any type of dance requires passion and motivation and once you have perfected the art of the specific dance you’ve chosen it can be a very enjoyable hobby or even profession.
These days you are basically spoilt for choice with the quantity of different dance classes available. Young kids often opt for ballet which is a good choice as ballet is in fact the basis of other types of dance. Ballroom dancing london, street dance classes london and hip hop dancing has gained popularity again mainly due to the UK T.V shows ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Britains Got Talent’ which saw an adolescent group of kids, from all avenues of life and backgrounds walk away with the winning vote.
What ever type of dance you choose it’s essential that you choose your studio hire in london well. Don’t go for too larger groups as any talent you might have may well be overlooked if the instructor has too many to teach. Dance schools maybe more expensive but as you advance may be a better option particularly if you plan to dance professionally.

A birthday for a child has always been a special event with many children enjoying a party to mark their special day.
Childrens dance parties are a new activity to enjoy on a birthday suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness.A child who is not necessarily sporty will enjoy burning off surplus energy by dancing, boys in particular may be new to dance. The boys may enjoy a dance party themed around hip hop or street dance which has been very popular over the last year or so.
Since dance has featured so heavily in the media recently and particularly on television it would be a popular choice for a childrens party. Not only is dance an enjoyable form of exercise it improves flexibility, muscle tone and general feelings of well being and is something to be encouraged in times of obesity in children.
the size of the party and the age of the participants is not a problem as all are welcome to join in.the size of the group would dictate whether the children were separated into smaller groups or all kept together. All at the party will be able to have input with ideas for steps and music. All the ideas are then put together to produce a routine which they all can follow.
At the end of the party enough time is allowed to show a short performance to parents at the party. Both parents and children alike seem to enjoy this part of the party.dance teachers are used to helping all those present at the party, even those who may not have been so keen at the start!.
there are many popular themes and they can be enhanced by some small amount of costume or props. A Bollywood theme has been a recent introduction and this too has proved very popular.Any child or the parent with a particlar theme in mind can discuss this with the dance instructor prior to the party so that suitable music can be found.Parents may even like to join in with their children, particularly if they are very young.
Of course childrens parties come in many different forms and may not be for a birthday.A unique way to spend a wet day over the school holidays perhaps ?.It would make an ideal opportunity for a child perhaps new to an area to meet others in a sociable group. Not only do the children interact together to make a positive outcome to their activity they can also introduce their own individuality. Many children have found a sense of rythm that they had previously been unaware of as they do not usually dance.
