Crazy Colored Contact Lenses
Everyone loves a new pair of crazy colored contact lenses . They can be a lot of fun as long as you remember to maintain them well so that they don’t harm you and your eyes. These wild, fun contact lenses require special care and cleaning so you can wear them again and again- unless of course they are the one time wear variety. Getting rid of any impurities in the storage cases should be at the top of the list. The grime which an unclean storage can carry can be a major cause of eye infections. Clean the case thoroughly with a toothbrush that is specially put aside for the purpose, using a contact lens solution liquid and do this regularly on a weekly basis.
Another choice might be to use daily disposable lenses which do not require cleaning and go a long way towards preventing you from getting an eye infection as you wear them once then throw away. Extended wear lenses are designed to wear overnight and they can be worn continuously for a week or month before throwing away. Once the contacts are inside the eyes, you should be well-aware of the things to do and to avoid while wearing them. Be at all times be mindful of your choice because best quality is irreplaceable. Your eyes are worth it.
General Instructions On Care
-Always use a fresh solution that has not expired.
– Don’t use your saliva or anything other than the recommended eye solution.
– Do not put the lenses in your mouth as the high quality colouring may wear off.
-Always wash, rinse and dry your hands on a clean towel before handling.
-Do not go to sleep with them in unless you have the extended wear type.
– If you have any sudden vision loss, swelling and unusual redness, visit your eye doctor immediately.
-When you first wear your fun contact lenses, you may be concerned that you are wearing them inside out. If this arises, do not be uneasy because there’s no harm in it. To avoid this from happening, place the wild contact lens on the tip of your finger so that is forming a cup and if it looks like it is flaring out it means it is inside out.
-Don’t put any make-up on until after you have put the lenses in. This way you will lessen the risk of any contamination. When you are removing make up make sure that you have washed and dried your hands on a clean towel.
-Do not let the tip of the solution bottle touch other surfaces. This includes your fingers, eyes and even your crazy, colored contact lenses.
With all of these precautions and care tips in place, have fun with your new look!
