Englands Captain Returns Home But What Is He Going To Do Now?

Recently Rio Ferdinand returned home from South Africa. He got injured before the World Cup after a clash with Emile Heskey and will not be participating in the World Cup for England. Capello had to recall Tottenham’s Michael Dawson to replace Rio Ferdinand. Ferdinand will obviously will be working on getting fit before the premiership season starts in August but what can else can he do in his free time. There are several things he can do, play rakeback, play Xbox, PS3, or go on a holiday with family.

But what do you think he will do?

Recently I did a survey asking around 250 people on what Ferdinand can do over the summer. Some said that he should rest and go for a holiday with his family. Because this is time when they can spend quality time with their family. Some want him to get back to full fitness for next season. Some said that time is up for Rio as he gets injured quite often these days.

Some wanted him to stay with the current England’s squad to support them and he is also looked at one of the leader in the squad. Not a good idea in my opinion. If one of your work colleague is ill would you really want him or her sat next to you coughing and sneezing. I don’t think so. So having Rio is not really a good idea at the moment. Ok fair enough David can train and he can stay but there is no point of Rio being there.

I would recommened Ferdinand to have few games of absolute poker or Everest poker while resting and watching England play. Poker will also help him sharpen his mind, which is needed to read the game in football especially when you play for Manchester United.
