But Mostly It’s About Emotion – Music Is An Art And A Science

They say that music is both an art and a science and for the most part that is really true. There are more mathematical elements to music than just about any other art form. It is systematic, exact and yet, when you listen to it, it, is pleasing and flowing and appears not to be mathematical in nature at all.

Still, music is mostly about emotion, it is the emotion in the human mind that the music or the lyrics ignite. Without the emotional content music would be interesting, but it could never be great.

Music industry is aware of the demands of listeners and so keeps on updating the music systems with new software. Sonos is the foremost digital music system that enables an individual to play music in all the rooms of the house.

Internet is another medium that makes music accessible to the people around the world. No matter if it is an old song that one wants to hear or a latest track all can be downloaded from the Internet. Computers are equipped with memory, software, sound card, processors, record and play features that can play the same track infinitely. One such software is named file-sharing program. This enables the internet user to browse a site and download the music in a digital format. Moreover, all the songs can be downloaded free of cost with best quality voice.

DVD players are another source of music. These players make use of digital video discs to store data and movies. Though priced quite reasonably, they have features that are parallel to high-valued models. They are portable and also have a video screen. It can be used for listening all different types of music like jazz, rock, soft and many others.

You see, the people in the audience didn’t care about any of that, they cared that the music moved them emotionally, that’s all they really cared about. From this we can take away that although music is mathematical and exact, and although it is an art, all we really care about it is its emotional value to us. I want you to really think about how the music moves you. That’s what really matters to the human mind

Movie Reviews – Transformers 2

After the chart busting success of Transformers, Transformers -Revenge of the Fallen is anticipated to be a bigger and better movie. All the critiques are beforehand readily applauding the movie. The fans are already calling the movie a fantastic hit.

In the sequel, there are more robots, guns, and explosions. New and exciting characters are introduced. Old ones are modified and improved. The movie is thought to be the most magnanimous movie of the year.

The storyline revolves once again around the Autobots and Decepticons. Some of the evil Decepticons awake the most dreaded and vivacious Decepticon of all, The Fallen! He had been lying on the core of the ocean for hundreds of years and now in the sequel he rises again.

This powerful and hefty new Decepticon is the major part of the movie. As the name suggest, the Fallen will help the Decepticons in war against the Autobots and humans. In this sequel, Megatron also rises from death. He supposedly returns with the help of the piece of Allspark left with Sam Witwicky.

In an old Abbott and Costello bit, Lou tries to make a phone call but each time he tries somebody comes over and gets to the pay phone before he does. The person then calls some place that’s a zillion miles away from where they are calling and they get through with no problem at all. But poor Lou can’t make a call to a number that’s only a few blocks away on the other side of town. His frustration level with the operator can only make us smile as we many times experience that same level of frustration.

In the movie “Sergeant York” after Gary Cooper (York) comes back to the states as a hero and is given a warm welcome in New York City, he gets a call from his mother back home. It is the first time she has ever used a telephone. She tries to talk to him but can’t hear because she’s not close enough to the phone. Finally her daughter tells her to get closer to the phone and she asks Alvin the famous question “Alvin, when are yuh commin’ home?” There wasn’t a dry eye in the theater when they showed this.

The Autobots help Sam save the Earth and his family once again. The Fallen joins the battle as well. A much more ferocious war is fought. Megatron wants information from Sam about the source of Energon on Earth. Mikaela is also involved in the encounter as she refuses to leave Sam alone in such time of difficulty.

It is implied that Optimus Prime might be killed during the war. The whole world is tangled in the combat. But the fans are now intrigued about the outcome of the battle. How many will survive? Will their hero Optimus Prime remain with them? Would Sam hold up against the Decepticons? Would Mikaela and Sam be together till the end? Every fan is waiting impatiently for the release of the movie

Art And Artifacts Define The Cradle – Mesopotamia

Mesopotamia, long known as the cradle of civilization, the birth place of writing, occupies a special place in the history of man. But how do we know it was the birthplace? What did this first civilization look like and why is this place so special? The answer can be found in temple art where pictorial representations are mixed with a simple early language to tell us how that civilization worked, how it compared with modern times and how it became the forerunner or prototype for civilizations yet to come.

Mesopotamia, approximately where modern Iraq is located, is not a country but a region. The word means “between two rivers”, defining a geographical region where water was the key to survival. The geographic area known as Mesopotamia was divided into four main states. Those states, Assyria to the north, Babylonia to the west, Akkad to the East and Sumer to the South all took turns holding political sway in the entire region.  To be more accurate “the cradle of civilization” was Sumer. The progress established by the Sumerians was carried on over the following thousand years by various regional powers, including the Assyrians and Babylonians. The hanging garden of Babylon became one of the wonders of the Ancient world. Writing was first to appear in the time of 3500-3000 BC. This is crucial to our understanding because the people of Sumer, known as Sumerians, displayed their writing proficiency on many things, including temple wall sculptures, statues and clay seals used to commemorate people and events. That one thing has been significant in furthering our understanding. The simple pictographic style of writing was later replaced by Cuneiform, another gift of the Sumerians.

This has been occurring for well over a year now, which means that tons of you are seeing the exact same generic moon and star tattoos as most other folks. Even worse is that fact that many of these people are settling on those generic designs. Just about all of them will look at their tattoo in a couple of years and regret putting that kind of cookie cutter artwork on their body, too. Like I said, though, there’s a much simpler way to find amazing artwork and the sites that have tons of it. It involves using the strengths of big forums. The larger, the better.

If you want to figure out were so many tattoo enthusiasts are finding crisp, high quality artwork, step into the archives of any big forum. This is where you have complete access to all sorts of topics about tattoo artwork. They are packed with them. You just have to pick out one or two of the bigger topics and have a little fun scanning them.

They had farms and crops. They plowed the fields and grew Barley. Not only that, they had a system for allocating crops to those needing the food. They had a large community acting in unison for the common good. They had irrigation for the fields drawing water from the Tigris and Euphrates. In other words, they had an organized farm system to supply food to the population. They had cities and towns created by people who had stopped being nomads. A constant food supply is necessary for this society to take root.

Mesopotamian Art has shown us a great deal. You could recognize many of the elements depicted on the temple walls as describing where you live today. You may not have your own military wing but you do have a town/city, a constant food supply, a church, a local government, laws, law enforcement, punishment, the arts, music, writing, daily work, a home, you drive to work in your chariot etc.  Yes, Mesopotamia was the cradle of civilization and its story can be seen in its Art
