Quite a few people enjoy doing things by themselves. They like to fix things around the house. But one of those areas of your house that is hardest to do is plumbing.Primarily because the plumbing is located in your floors.Or most of the plumbing is found within your walls. So when you do have some plumbing that is a problem you have to call a plumber. So here are some steps you can take to locate a good plumber.
First of all a good way to find a good plumber is through family and friends. Like a lot of things when you have a referral, it is one of the ways to find a business that is real good. In my Temecula plumbing company that is one of the main ways I find clients. A lot of the new customers are referrals from past customers.Plus when a person is more than willing to give you a recommendation that is a good sign. If they do recommend someone that is a good sign of good work.
Second thing to look for is whether or not the plumber is licensed. You will be shocked when you find out the amount of unlicensed plumbers there are. I am surprised at how little people ask for my license in my Murrieta plumbing business. A license is a good sign of a responsible company. A license is a sign of a company willing to do what it takes to prove their ability. It is a bad sign that a company may be lazy when they don't have a license.
The last thing you will want to do is locate the right kind of plumber. Some plumbing companies focus only on doing repairs. While other plumbers focus on new construction. If you have a need to get some plumbing repairs done what you want is a person who has a specialty in repairs.Someone that might have their focus and skill concentrated in the area of new construction might not have the experience for repairs.
So if you use these steps to find a good plumber, you should be able to do just that. When you have something important that has to be done, the price will be worth it.

One of the problems that most people experience is having a clogged toilet as a plumbing problem.Sometimes it isn't difficult and a plunger will be all you need. Then some times it will be needed that a plumber be the one to fix it. But for most people I am going to share a few tips that will hopefully fix it so you won't need a plumber.
Now these are some tricks I have picked up running my Temecula plumbing business. But these are tricks that the average homeowner should be able to do.It won't require you to use or have expensive equipment. You aren't required to be expert in plumbing to know how to fix it.Just be able to follow the directions and you should be able to fix it.
First thing you want to try is a plunger. Most everyone will own a plunger and you can use it to clear a lot of clogged toilets. The plungers that work the best will have a fold out cup. That cup is what goes into the toilet trap. That is what causes the good suction. Then what you are going to do is take it and use a back and forth motion very even. This should clear the toilet.
Another piece of equipment you can use is a toilet auger. How it looks is it has a J shaped tube and a cable attached. Sort of like a drain snake. It is one of my most used tools for my Murrieta plumbing service. They can be purchased at most hardware stores. What you will do is take the end of the auger and put it into the toilet. Then you take the handle and push it in while you crank it clockwise. This loosens any debris and clears the toilet.
These two pieces of equipment should be able to accomplish it. But of course if it doesn't then you will need a good plumber to come out. It is more expensive then doing it yourself. But when you can't, it is worth it to fix your plumbing. Because having a clogged toilet in the house is no fun. Plus it creates a lot of problems.
