TAROT – How Often Should You Have A Reading?
One of my FAQs is, “How often should I have a Tarot Card reading?” There is no general answer. It depends on your objective – what kind of reading you’re having and the way you are utilizing it. If you’re looking for some indication about what is happening in general in the long term, then you could have a reading every six months or so, or perhaps each and every year.
This type of reading tends to involve a larger “spread” or “layout” as Tarot readings are called, with more cards in it. This permits a broader view of trends that might be coming into play around you. It generally tells a reader whether you are inside a time of change or of relative stability – whether new stuff is going to happen or issues remain extremely similar to how they are now. You do not need this kind of reading very often. It is “big picture” stuff and tends to change gradually.
If you are looking at one issue at a time, such as if you’re going to get a new job soon, you can ask that question having a smaller kind of layout. A couple of cards or a Celtic Cross will probably be fine and will tell you what the possibilities are in that situation. The studying may tell you if you have to add to your abilities and head off in a new career direction or search much more thoroughly for a job than you’re presently doing. In the event you asked about moving home it might say that moving would be disruptive at this time. The Tarot is always more than just “Yes” or “No”. Generally it provides you some guidance or insight also.
With a reading according to one specific topic you are able to ask whenever you like as long as the topics are different. It is no good asking the same factor many times, because the answers just become confusing and often merely reflect how you’re feeling that day. I usually attempt to discourage individuals from becoming dependent on divination. Asking the same question again and again, attempting to “nag” the cards into telling you what you want to hear is not healthy. Sometimes life doesn’t give us what we want and we need to accept that and get on with things as best we can.
It’s much better not to ask trivial concerns. I’ve discovered that the Tarot operates best when you have thought out your question carefully and place it in a sensible manner. Whenever you have an answer to a question, then it’s a great idea to go away and reflect on it and see how that answer can assist you to with your problem. That is among the strengths of the Tarot – guidance. It can assist us to determine solutions for ourselves.
By using the Tarot wisely, it becomes like talking to a good friend. The answers often open up new methods of taking a look at our lives that can help us bring out the best for ourselves in the long term. Like all good buddies it responds best if you take notice of the answers it gives.
