Clairvoyance And How To Learn Clairvoyance
Is it truly possible for someone to learn the skill of being a clairvoyant? Yes, it is possible to a certain extent. However, in order to truly define what we mean by this we need to clarify the term ‘learn clairvoyance‘.
Some of the confusion here derives from the fact that the term clairvoyance has several different meanings. Some of the traditional definitions center on remote viewing powers or precognition skills. On a very basic level, this term refers to the ability to discover information about a person, place, or thing without using any of the five senses but from tapping into a latent sixth sense.
Some individuals have extraordinary clairvoyant abilities. They may be able to hear, see, smell, feel or even taste something that is not close by. They may have the ability to know about things from the future or past that, they could not know by any other means. No one is sure as to how it works. Science offers no explanation or documentation of these abilities. There are many metaphysical explanations of these psychic abilities. However, there is no dominant belief and many of the explanations are actually contradictory. There is one common element. However, it seems to cross through all these various theories. Individuals who experience such psychic abilities are born that very naturally.
Is it possible for everyone to learn remote viewing or develop the ability to see into the future? No, but it is possible for everyone to develop a talent at developing a sixth sense.
It is true that all people have a certain degree of a sixth sense. This can sometimes be described as a hunch or feeling that no one can logically explain. People making statements about having bad feelings about something or lacking trust in a person could be considered a form of sixth sense. However, most people will ignore this feeling and defer to logic or emotion instead.
To a certain degree, science acknowledges the validity and existence of instincts and gut feelings. However, they do claim that there is nothing paranormal, psychic or supernatural about the ability. Psychologists, contend that this type of phenomenon is the ability of your subconscious mind to notice small hints, signals or details that your conscious mind may simply overlook. Your subconscious mind translates this type of information to your emotions that then guides you with the proverbial ‘feeling’ mentioned above. What this means is that you must learn to use and trust your subconscious mind in order to develop your sixth sense.
Whether you believe in science or in the mystical existence of a sixth sense, you’ll find that you can still take advantage of this concept. What you need to learn is that no matter what you believe, you can train your perception and that you can sharpen it a great deal. Just look at these three methods.
Method 1: Perception Improvement
Most people go through life so overly focused on their immediate tasks they become oblivious to what surrounds them. Those tiny details hidden in plain sight are picked up by the subconscious mind and ignored by the conscious mind. It becomes necessary to increase perception in order to be aware of things in clear detail. This will allow for the greater development of a clairvoyant sixth sense.
However, it does take practice. You can do some things to increase your perception. First, you must slow down and try to relax. Calm yourself and then move more slowly during your daily activities. Secondly, remove any distractions that fill your senses. For instance, turn off the radio while driving your car. With nothing to stimulate your thoughts and senses, you become more aware of your world, the neighborhood, the weather and even that car moving into your blind spot while driving.
A little bit of mini-meditation does not hurt either. That means you can close your eyes and inhale and try to relax. Upon opening your eyes, you will discover you are more aware of your surroundings. This process only takes a few seconds and it works fairly well.
Method 2: Learn to Meditate
Meditate for at least thirty minutes daily. Meditation is occupying and clearing your conscious mind while allowing your subconscious mind to work and communicate with your conscious mind. Many individuals who meditate report feelings of being refreshed and relaxed.
It is fair to say meditation can be a little difficult to perform at times. When you try and empty out your mind, it becomes difficult to truly clear the mind and cease and endless cycle of thought. To reverse such a scenario is difficult because it is tough to occupy the conscious mind and be able to distract it. A focus and a mantra may be the best ways to do this.
Meditation can be difficult because your senses act as a means of distraction. Every little sound you hear and anything that you feel can prove quite distracting. So, it is best to avoid trying to shut down your senses and, instead, try to keep them busy with something you are focusing on. The flame of a candle can work well in this regard. As the flame flickers and shifts, you can watch it and keep your mind occupied.
Secondly, it is our conscious mind and our thoughts that never shut down which leads us to always being distracted by thoughts. So, instead of trying to silence it, it is better to distract it or occupy it with a mantra. A mantra is a phrase, prayer, or poem and, possibly, song lyrics intended to occupy the mind. As long as it is something you know and can recite, you can use it as a mantra. Many prayer sessions such as the rosary reciting can occupy the mind in such a manner.
3. Trust Your Instincts
Without a doubt, it is the ability to trust your instincts that is the most important element. That is why it is important to never doubt yourself or your abilities. Dont tell yourself there is no logical reason to what you do. Pay attention to your subconscious mind as it may pick up on something you had not noticed before.
It may be challenging to begin with, however the more you learn to listen to and trust your instincts the more confidence in them you will gain. Doing this strengthens your clairvoyant sixth sense, making it much easier for you to trust it.
