Trying To Learn A Foreign Language…

Trying to learn a foreign language can be a daunting task. Living in a country where you do not know the spoken language is also frustrating and disappointing at times. Simple things, like taking the bus or train can become almost scary.

Even though learning another language is not as easy as tonsil stone removal, it is a necessity, when you actually live in a country where you do not know the native language. There are many things that you cannot do.  If you do not even know how to call for help, you can probably imagine what a disaster that can be.

Simple things like going to the bakery become agonizing experiences because you know that you cannot actually communicate with the people at the store.  It is much worse when people are trying to be nice to you and you know you have to try and say something just to be polite. This is much more uncomfortable than reading about oramd to learn how to deal with bad breath problems.

If you are keen on your dental health, then you are probably concerned about the health of your gums. Going to a doctor who does not speak your language can be an unnerving experience.  Suddenly, you cannot ask questions.  Even if he told you to get a HydroFloss, you might not understand what he was telling you.

Therefore, learning the language of the land you live in is about more than just being polite. There could be definite safety issues involved too!  Just do your best and I am sure everyone will be patient with you and with a little struggle and effort, you can be ordering pastries at the local bakery like a true champ!

It is definietly helpful to know how to ask for a cup of coffee or bread with your soup.  Dining out will be a lot easier and more comfortable once you get past the basics.

How Human Nature Hurts Us…

Have you ever stopped to consider how sad our human condition is?  Just the fact that we have to have some form of currency leads to all kinds of problems.  People struggle to obtain more money, so they can have more power and control more people.

In any case, this is a bit sad in and of itself.  However, we are all human beings on this planet.  Why is it that we many suffer, for example those without food, while others have plenty.  With all our ability to wage war and kill our enemies, why can’t we kept people fed?

When you think of it in those terms, it seems a bit strange, doesn’t it?  I have always wondered about our currency system.  Is there really no other way to make things happen in this world?  The monetary system does seem to benefit those who ‘have’ over those who do not ‘have’.  Why is that?  Does it seem right to you?

Yet, there are many people in this world suffering in living conditions that others would never want to be in.  On the other end of the spectrum, there are people living in extreme luxury.  The average person has ‘nothing’ compared to them.  This disparity between the two extremes is strange, isn’t it?

Everyone was born as a human being.  Yet, some have a quality of life that far exceeds that of others.

However, I am not sure there is a good answer for all of this.  Communism did not work for human beings.  The issue of control and domination still come into play.  Instead of a utopia of equality, you end up with a dictatorship, oligarchy or some similar dysfunction system where the leaders are not elected by the people.

These problems are not very simple to solve.  Solving a dental health problem might be as straight forward as getting a hydrofloss or reading up on tonsil stone removal.  There is also therabreath for bad breath too.  But not something like this.  There really is no way that I can see to change the vast inequities that exist between the two extremes.

Part of the problem is power and possessions. No one really wants to help the people who are in a worse condition at their own expense.  Considering all of the tax dollars that are currently collected and spent on things that may not really be important,  why can’t we solve the problem of human beings that do not have enough food to eat?

Stress Is Not Cool…

Stress is when your peace of mind is interrupted and your emotions are worked up. You can feel stress in your home, work or your child can feel stress at school. If not handled properly, it can mess with our minds and our health.

Stress feels like you are carrying a large burden on your shoulders. You have a lot of responsibilities that seem like it all falls toward you and no one else. You have feelings of anxiety and frustration.  Stress can contribute to health issues like gum disease.

There are times when you will get angry because so much has come upon you and it seems to be overwhelming. You feel overpowered to do anything so it’s easy for you to get into worrying about things that you can’t control.

It doesn’t have to be big things that will cause stress. It could be some of the smallest things that can set you off and make you tense.

There are different things and events that can cause you to be stressed. What may cause stress for one person may not be the same for someone else. It’s basically different strokes for different folks when it comes to stress.

Stress can be physical, internal, emotional and external. They can be caused by a loss you’ve experienced, overworking yourself, sickness, arguments and other problems that you face.

You can also experience stress from office politics. This is not something that you should get involved in. It is not good for you mentally, especially if you’re dealing with other problems. Office politics can be very brutal and you have to know how to deal with it. The last thing you want to do is to bring it home with you.

One of the worst things you can do is to turn to drugs or alcohol to relieve stress. You will be on a never ending loop and things can go further south from there. If you do develop that gum disease we talked about, try the hydrofloss or therabreath mouthwash for better oral hygiene.  So, therefore it is extremely important to watch over your dental health during times of stress. This would include pregnancy when the risk of getting gum disease rises.

Getting rid of stress is important for many aspects of your life.  Stress levels vary, but if you learn could stress management techniques, you might live a happier, longer and more fulfilling life.
