Green Screen Hollywood Movies To Be Remembered

Flick magic is made possible by a multitude of visual effects, and one of the most important methodologies to date is the green screen Hollywood technique. This process involves the mixing of two photographs, the background and foreground. The background—the green screen— is replaced by the background that may appear in the film. The chroma key methodology is mostly employed for photography, weather forecasts, and naturally, big budget films. Undoubtedly, the green screen is essentially renowned for being an important tool in making Hollywood pictures. In fact, chroma key technology has made some of the most memorable cinematic gems ever.

Harry Potter. The Harry Potter film franchise is one of the most recognizable ones until now. It has got a huge fan base that is made up of a wide age group. The magical sector of wizards was made real by the help of PC technology and the chroma key. If the chroma key system were not used, Harry Potter would look like he were stuck in the world of Muggles all throughout the motion picture. In addition, the stunning visual spectacles in the flick were also created thru aid from chroma key technology. The green screen made the weeping willow, Hogwarts, unicorns, minotaurs, and other superb setting and creatures explode into life.

Jurassic Park. While the chance of having actual dinosaurs ramble the earth is sort of bleak, the green screen Hollywood technology made this practicable. The practical computer generated dinosaurs were so real and convincing, the Jurassic Park flick spawned other sequels which also received a huge following in the box office. The creation of Jurassic Park also laid the groundwork for other creature features in the big screen giving moviegoers something to roar about.

The Matrix. Though Keanu Reeves is not known for his acting prowess, The Matrix launched him to unending fame. The Matrix is a revolutionary film that showcased never previously seen visual effects styling. Again, this was made feasible thru the help of the chroma key methodology. Someone dodging bullets, check. Several alternate realities, check. Action packed fight scenes, check. Iconic pictures thanks to CGI and chroma key, check. With all these big screen innovations, The Matrix has become one of the most unusual action films ever.

All the wonderful movies we all know and love won’t be possible without the green screen Hollywood technique. Fortunately , somebody smart enough introduced this method of filmmaking so everyone can experience a bit of movie wizardry. Many films have introduced a lot of groundbreaking effects and methods that shaped today’s entertainment industry. What could possibly be next?

Have You Seen Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince?

Have you been to see the new Harry Potter film? I went to the see the film last night with my fiancée and two children. My two children were very eager to watch the film and were rather excited as we travelled to the cinema. In this article I will be giving an honest opinion/review of the film.

My family had been waiting for the film to be released for quite some time and I am actually quite glad that I went to watch it. I doubt however if I will be purchasing the DVD. Why not? Well I have to say we all felt very disappointed with it; it was far too long for the amount of real action that was included within the film; it was as if they were just trying to do some form of “filler”. I have to say that the overall impression that we came away with was that this film was just a way of making a great deal of money; such a shame and such a waste.

There was a young boy a few seats away from me who fell asleep with around thirty minutes remaining – if that boy is reading this article I can tell you that you did not miss much.

I am not a film reviewer, I do many things in life but this is not one of them. I am in fact a seller of upvc doors, I also work on other projects to do with providing web promotion tips and offering a DVD authoring service.

Now you may read in various newspaper reviews that this film is “outstanding” or “the best ever”; these are the types of adjectives that these journalists like to use. I have a question for these people; how old are you? OK so you are not a child then? This is mainly a children’s film and I have to say that the type of comments that I received from my children were as follows:

“I thought the film was never going to end”

“It was not the best”

“I was hoping for a lot more action”

“It was just on for far too long”

On a more positive note the film was quite funny in parts and also quite sad at other times. The special effects and the 3D at the start were also most impressive.
