Old Pictures

It is always fun to look back at happy memories. Happy memories that can make you smile, sigh, go nuts, go cranky, and you may even find yourself holding onto your tummy because you couldn’t stop the laughter. Memories are special tokens from the past and it becomes a part of the person you are today. Pictures are medium to lingering memories of the past. You will see how much you have grown physically and emotionally. Physically because obviously you have grown taller and skinnier, it is like you are being stretched like an elastic band and you may also have grown into the attractive being, you are today. But the emotional side, you may be a little puzzled about it. Allow me to share my story with you.

After 20 years of not browsing my old album as a child I finally got a chance to reminisce. It was almost hilarious to have a glimpse of the past. How thin I looked during my adolescent years. I could never imagine I accumulated all these fats looking like this today. But there are some things you will find out if you look clearer into the picture, the emotions. The happiness as a kid, the sadness, the unsatisfied look – everything you can see in a picture. I have this picture that I was muddy all over after a game of egg hunt, I ended up with three eggs and all that mess – and I looked so happy. To date, egg hunting is still a popular Easter game. I would like to compare this to my nephew’s photo, same age as mine in my old picture, but after a paintball game. He has the same grin as mine, he looks really happy dripping with paintball paint-squirts and mud. I never get the chance to play paintball in my younger years but I can see through my nephew’s pictures how he enjoyed it. I realized how I have grown as that child who seems happy and contented with little things. And how also little things made me cry as a child – taken in a snap, all documented! I let my nephew see the pictures and being his age right now, I felt that he leaped with excitement when he saw his pictures at the paintball field. I brought him to play with me. I was excited and he is too. I want to experience this game also. I really enjoyed, I can say as much as my nephew did. We captured pictures of us together. We were both extremely happy.

Again, another documented event in my life, it was like in my childhood. I felt happy having this picture playing paintball, which at least I could show my kids later on – the happy and emotion-filled childhood I’ve had not too many years ago. It is unexplainable how an old picture can bring so much laughter and happiness.

Play Online Poker & Keep The Wife Happy

We would all love our wedding day to be memorable and a huge affair with happy memories to cherish for the rest of our lives, but does it really have to have a price tag of 3 million Dollars? With the wedding costing this much, it should go down as something absolutely stunning. A wedding that was held in December has now been confirmed as the most expensive ever wedding to be held in Australia.

The location of the couple’s special day was Crown casino, which is known in Australia for being THE place to hold a party, and the wedding of Dr Geoffrey Edelstein and Brynne Gordon was no exception. With a price tag thought to be in the region of 3 million Dollars, it was a wedding day for royalty. There were approximately 550 wedding guests and these included some of the greatest names around in football, the movies and tv and maybe even a few online poker players. The wedding was hosted by actress Fran Dreisher and actor Jason Alexander.

On the south bank of the Yarra River in Melbourne you will find the amazing Crown Casino. There are many visitors to the casino (approximately 16 million) and so this puts the casino at the largest in Australia. The casino opened in 1994 and has been famed from the start of its existence when Rachel Griffiths streaked through the casino on opening night!

It was a shame that the bride only recognised about 20 faces in the guest crowd, a fact that she was keen to tell to waiting reporters! The groom is the former owner of an AFL team, a doctor and one of the richest men in Australia. The groom at 40 years older than his bride to be was understandably pleased as she walked down the aisle in a stunning ivory wedding gown with diamond jewellery set at a price tag of over half a million dollars. Many public events have been staged at The Crown Casino in Australia, but this weekend they are really pushing the boat out and hosting one of the most extravagent marital ceremonies even in Oz.

Let’s hope that the groom, if he’s a poker player gets Rakeback from his online game.  It looks like he has a mountain to climb to keep his wife in her expensive jewellery, so perhaps he could try Everest Poker or maybe try his hand at Party Poker.I would anticipate him needing a lot of money so best he tries his hand at as many games as possible!
