<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/stress-is-not-cool.html"></g:plusone>

Stress is when your peace of mind is interrupted and your emotions are worked up. You can feel stress in your home, work or your child can feel stress at school. If not handled properly, it can mess with our minds and our health.

Stress feels like you are carrying a large burden on your shoulders. You have a lot of responsibilities that seem like it all falls toward you and no one else. You have feelings of anxiety and frustration. Stress can contribute to health issues like gum disease.

There are times when you will get angry because so much has come upon you and it seems to be overwhelming. You feel overpowered to do anything so it’s easy for you to get into worrying about things that you can’t control.

It doesn’t have to be big things that will cause stress. It could be some of the smallest things that can set you off and make you tense.

There are different things and events that can cause you to be stressed. What may cause stress for one person may not be the same for someone else. It’s basically different strokes for different folks when it comes to stress.

Stress can be physical, internal, emotional and external. They can be caused by a loss you’ve experienced, overworking yourself, sickness, arguments and other problems that you face.

You can also experience stress from office politics. This is not something that you should get involved in. It is not good for you mentally, especially if you’re dealing with other problems. Office politics can be very brutal and you have to know how to deal with it. The last thing you want to do is to bring it home with you.

One of the worst things you can do is to turn to drugs or alcohol to relieve stress. You will be on a never ending loop and things can go further south from there. If you do develop that gum disease we talked about, try the hydrofloss or therabreath mouthwash for better oral hygiene. So, therefore it is extremely important to watch over your dental health during times of stress. This would include pregnancy when the risk of getting gum disease rises.

Getting rid of stress is important for many aspects of your life. Stress levels vary, but if you learn could stress management techniques, you might live a happier, longer and more fulfilling life.

If you visit Italy and don’t speak Italian, it will appear as if everyone speaks Italian but you. That is not necessarily true. There are several languages spoken in Italy other than Italian along with several dialects of Italian.

Most regions have their own dialect, accent and even their own language. The languages spoken in Italy have evolved over the centuries. The different dialects are all noticeably different from the standard Italy.

Italian is known as an Indo-European language and currently there are over 55 million speakers of Italian in Italy. Some of the individuals are bilingual in Italian and some of the regional dialects. There are an additional 6.5 million people who speak Italian in other countries.

Besides Italy, Italian is spoken in several countries, which include Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Libya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Paraguay, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, and Vatican State.

Italians still get have bad breath and get gum disease – just like everyone else in the world. Therefore, they may need therabreath mouthwash. Sometimes we all need a little more than brushing and flossing can provide, therefore there is the hydroflosshydrofloss. In Addition, you may wish to read the ormd review.

There are several regional dialects spoken in Italy. The major dialects of Italian include toscano, abruzzese, pugliese, umbro, laziale, marchigiano centrale, cicolano-reatino-aquilano, and molisano.

Because of the different regions of Italy, there are also different languages spoken in Italy other than the standard Italian. Those languages include emiliano-romagnolo, friulano, ligure, Lombardo, napoletano, plemontese, sardarese, sardu, siciliano and Veneto. Some of these languages are known by different names, which are not listed here.

Obviously, Italians don’t all speak the same exact language. This may make conversing with Italians a bit more difficult, but learning to understand the differences can be interesting and worthwhile.

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/clash-of-the-titans-cool-or-not-2.html"></g:plusone>

I just saw the movie, ‘Clash of the Titans’ starring Sam Worthington. It was an ok movie. It was interesting, it was action packed. But I think it was a bit short in a few ways.

I won’t put any spoilers in here because I do not want to ruin it for you. It is worth seeing. But the cost of movies at AMC has risen over time and now it is a bit expensive. I watched a guy in line in front of me buy tickets for his family and he spent over seventy dollars! Wow, that’s expensive.

Therefore, I suggest you simply wait for the video. Some movies, you want to see right away in the theater. But in this case and in my opinion it is ok to wait on this one.

Warning: Some monsters need bad breath therapy from Therabreath.

Time wise, it felt like the movie did not last that long. I didn’t actually time it, but when it was over I had that feeling that it wasn’t very long.

The plot was interesting. But the background was a bit thin. The situation between Hades and Zeus was not fully explained. It seems that Hades created this monster to kill their parents but Zeus still ended up being the top guy and Hades was banished to the underworld. Why? There is no full explanation to this in the movie.

Maybe he didn’t have an oral irrigator to fight his gum disease with!

You get the feeling from the movie that Zeus is a bad guy in the beginning but the way he explains things in the end, makes him look like a good guy. You are left wondering what the truth is. The contradictions are never fully explained to my satisfaction.

The acting from all of the actors was great. I did not see anything that made me think things were not real. I liked all of the actors. Good job guys! Acting seems like the coolest and most fun job in the world, doesn’t it?

I live in a rain forest country. My land is rich with different kinds of plants. Different varieties of plants can grow everywhere. One the example of plants or herbal plants that can grow everywhere is guava also known as "bayabas" in our country.

What I’m about to say is my own experience and opinion only, I am not suggesting that this plant will have the same effect on you.

Bayabas or guava is best known for many herbal benefits. All parts of guava can be use as medicine. Guava plant can cure diarrhea, allergies, diabetes, defective gums, aching tooth, heal wounds, control blood pressure and can also help reduce weigh. It is known as an "all you can plant" in our place.

When you have a diarrhea, first thing to do is pick some leaves of the guava and boil it. You need to drink some of the boiled guava leaves. Take a rest and after that diarrhea is gone. If you have a defective gum or an aching tooth, Elders in our place tell us to get some leaves and chew it for several minutes and your mouth pains will be gone. And it is really true, I tried it myself before. It can also heal wounds, external wounds particularly, by crashing the leaves of the guava and put or place it to the wound. In that way, your pain will be lessen and after a few days it will be completely healed just by continuing to put a crash guava leaves in your wound. When you happen to have a high blood pressure, all you have to do is eat some fruit of the guava. Older person practice that because they are the person who usually got a high blood pressure. There is some content in a guava that can helps your metabolism works fast resulting into weigh loss.

This is just some of the miracles and powers of a guava plant can do. There are a lot more. It may not help against halitosis or gum disease the way a good oral irrigator can, but read this oramd review.

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/cleaning-up-after-pets-being-a-good-pet-owner-and-respecting-other-humans.html"></g:plusone>

A few years back, I remember hearing the story of a mayor in Paris who actually had his policemen start writing tickets for people that were not cleaning up after their pets. Right there in the sidewalks of Paris, things were getting out of hand. The problem had become so horrible that people just could not walk down the sidewalk without trying to dodge ‘land mines’.

I have had a similar experience in my own neighborhood. I like to walk, particularly in the morning. I faced the same ‘land mine’ situation on a certain stretch of sidewalk. This raised my anger. If a someone is really not going to clean up after her pet, why can’t she at least have the pet go somewhere other than the middle of the sidewalk?

Aside from the fact that the owner was not being respectful to her fellow humans, it is disgusting to walk down the sidewalk and suddenly realize that you have to watch where you step. The disgusting part is that this is organic waste that I have to avoid from another living creature. These animals could very well have parasites or other nasty things in their stool. This makes stepping in it a health hazard!

Sure, you can scrape the bottom of your shoe off before going back inside, but in all honesty how likely are you to get it all off – right down to the smallest particles that you might not even see? Some parasite eggs could end up on your carpet. Do you have a child that likes to put things in his mouth after crawling around the floor? How many little particles, no matter how small end up in your bed?

All right, I think the point has been made. On another note about animals, both cats and dogs have another problem that is very common to their human friends. That problem is gum disease. So many animals have it and so many humans do too! Do not forget to get your pet checked for gingivitis. Gum disease is the number one cause of tooth loss in humans and probably is in pets too!

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/your-key-to-dealing-with-tough-economic-times-and-expensive-heath-care-bills-2.html"></g:plusone>

You may not be very surprised to learn that times are tough right now for many people throughout the country. You hear that the official unemployment rate is about 10% but secretly, many people say it is much higher.

However, this article isn’t really about doom and gloom. In fact, I want to believe that things are going to get better, just like you most likely do.

Health is very important to us. And when times get tough, people get stressed. Sometimes this takes a toll on your health.

It is no secret that many researchers have discovered evidence that suggests the health of our bodies are very connected to the health of our mouths. Yet people have problems with this in many regards!

One is the cost of dental treatment. The other is a lack of understanding, about how to improve dental health at home. These two factors are very related. If you understand good home care, you have a much better chance to keep your teeth and gums healthy AND avoiding expensive dental bills at the same time.

Here are some tools that can help.

1. The hydrofloss - Oral irrigation can be very helpful to your dental health – however this particular device is, in my opinion the best. It has been studied and the studies have been published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology not once, but twice!

2. Therabreath moutwash – pH balanced, oxygenated mouthwash – very powerful for combatting bad breath and even gum disease.

Taking care of your dental health often needs to extend beyond just regular toothbrushing and flossing. After all, if they were enough to truly maintain your dental health, then why are so many people walking around that need or have had expensive dental treatments? In time, you will begin to understand that what you do at home can have a major impact on your health, well-being and your wallet – all at the same time!

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/patients-are-dissatisfied-with-their-dental-care.html"></g:plusone>

As part of my work, I get to talk to a lot of people about dental health and from listening to their stories of pain, suffering, solutions and treatments that do not provide long-term relief is something I find very frustrating! I think that by now, in our modern age, better answers should be provided to us from ‘professionals’ and ’scientists’.

Unfortunately, I am convinced that we have been sold a ‘bill of goods’ in the notion that brushing and flossing are all that you need to maintain your dental health and prevent problems.

My proof that is not true is self-evident. People still get cavities, their teeth still crack or break and they still get gum disease. In relation to the last term, the stats say it all! Most dental professionals agree that up to 75% of people have some form of gum disease right now.

Therefore, you tell me, is it sensible to believe that merely brushing and flossing is enough for the majority of people to maintain their dental health? The reality of today’s state of dental health is very frustrating because the lack of knowledge about what dental disease is and what you can do about it is insidious.

In addition, I challenge you to ponder these simple questions. Dentistry has been with us for a very long time, yet why do so many people still need cavities filled, root canals, crowns, gum grafts, and other ’special treatments’? Do you think that no one has ever come upon good answers to prevent these problems in all the years that ‘modern’ dentistry has been around?

I certainly do not claim to have all of the answers, but I do think that I might have some of them. I was able to avoid one of those popular ‘deep cleaning’ treatments. Even if you have not heard that term from your dentist before or the terms, ‘SRP’ or ‘Scaling and Root Planing’, the chances are pretty good that someone you personally know has!

For an oral irrigator, I believe that the hydrofloss is the best.

Chew xylitol gum for the healthy dental benefits discovered by Finlanders 6 decades ago.

Try a pH balanced, oxygenated mouthwash!

I would further challenge anyone reading this article to dig deeper and discover the knowledge, understandings, tools and products that can truly help promote better dental health and save you and your loved ones from unnecessary expense, pain and prevent the need for harsh treatments!

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/dental-disease-is-not-about-aging-it-is-about-not-understanding.html"></g:plusone>

Many people believe that having periodontal (gum) disease is a problem of old age. Nothing could be further from the truth. You can be a young child and have a problem with the health of your gum tissue. The reality is that damage builds up over time and it is only when people are older that they start to see the accumulated problem.

Because they only start to recognize it later in life, it is often associated with the later stages of life. But in reality, up to 80% of people may have some form of gum disease right now. Your chances do increase over time. I saw a statistic on the Mayo Clinic’s website that up to 95% of people have some form of gum disease after age 65. Such stats do little to dispell the myth that this is a disease of aging.

So, what do you do when the majority of people will not consider that they might have some level of gum disease right now? Well, there is really nothing you can do. Yet, the individuals themselves could choose a different path. There are ways that go beyond brushing and flossing to improve your dental health. If brushing and flossing were enough, would so many people end up with gum disease and need expensive treatments to mitigate the effects of the disease? The answer is: probably not.

I hope that everyone can understand the truth about this problem and save their teeth as well as thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars on dental work that could have been prevented!

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/save-your-remaining-teeth-or-protect-them.html"></g:plusone>

Tooth loss, among other things, can be quite a devastating or a demoralizing experience. The most common factor or cause of tooth loss would be periodontal disease commonly referred to as ‘gum disease’. This is associated with advanced stages of gum deterioration. When the gums are afflicted with bacteria that secrete toxins onto and around the periodontal tissue. This is literally, the tissue that surrounds the tooth.

Obviously, we have all been cautioned to remain vigilant with our oral health care routines. But with our current realities especially as it relates to food and disease, it may take more than regular flossing and brushing to prevent and cure periodontal disease.

In line with this, there are some measures that one can take in order to prevent or stop the progression of gum disease. Consider an oxygenated, pH mouthwash such as the Therabreath brand. Make sure that you also have enough intake of Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, folic acid, calcium and niacin to combat pyorrhoea.

Another possibility is an essential oil blend that can help to kill harmful bacteria. Oramd is one brand. However, be forwarned, this can help, but you should also know that the daily disruption of plaque is necessary to help mitigate these problems. An oral irrigator, like the hydrofloss may be helpful in this regard.

Periodontal disease is a condition wherein the bone structure that supports the teeth starts to erode as a result of the destructive waste products of anaerobic bacteria that accumulate under plaque. Excessive alcohol and smoking can exacerbates already existing periodontal disease or facilitate the development of the disease. Vitamin B2 or riboflavin might help relieve mouth dryness. Mouth dryness can help the rapid proliferation and growth of bacteria.

gum disease

Do you believe that gums must recede as we age? If you do, then it might seem natural to you to lose teeth. I have known people in their late 80′s and I am surprised to see that they still have their complete set of teeth. They say that they have been very cautious when it comes to the food they intake and with proper home care.

Funny how some elderly would stick out their dentures and scare their grand children away – happy bonding time with the family, something really worth reminiscing. But do you know that there is more to life than just making the children in your family have a good time when they see you play with your dentures? Besides brushing and flossing, have you tried the hydrofloss yet?

Perhaps you are making it appealing to them so that they tend to like the idea or at least accept that they would lose their teeth one by one. I have actually asked a child who had his first permanent molar extracted at the age of 12. Imagine how many years more he has to live without his first molar. This does not bother him as he is actually enjoying the idea that he may soon wear dentures. Wouldn’t it be better to use a mouthwash like therabreath?

Some patients sound weird as they talk to the receptionist that they are having several incisors extracted due to little discolorations. I thought to myself, I am so fortunate to have mine complete never having to undergo multiple extractions and never ever considering having one. Essential oils, like those in Oramd may be helpful.

And I realized that the greatest secret of the successful ones is that they meticulously cared for their teeth throughout their lifetime. You don’t have to lose your teeth as you grow old. Gum recession does not have to be part of the aging process.

Learn more about what you can do to prevent or stop gum disease.

Disclaimer: If you have or think you might have gum disease or any other health problem, please visit your doctor or periodontist for advice, diagnosis and treatment.
<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/avoiding-pain-at-the-dentists-office.html"></g:plusone>

Have you ever stopped to wonder why so many people dislike going to the dentist’s office? Many people find even a basic checkup to be painful.

Before having your teeth cleaned, one of the dental hygienist’s duties is to check the health of your gum tissue. He will undoubtedly look at your pocket depths. You can then ask about using an oral irrigator known as the hydrofloss.

Here, for some people is where the trouble begins. When gum tissue is diseased, it feels a lot like someone shoving pins into your gum tissue. However, healthy gum tissue does not have that problem. Normally, dental probing will not invoke pain with healthy gum tissue.

So, if you are one of those who feels that the doctor or hygienist is shoving pins directly into your gums, it is very likely that you have some gum disease. Ask your dentist to verify and diagnose the condition.

Unfortunately, some dentists do not spend a lot of time educating patients about this problem. That situation can lead to greater problems for the patient.

Yet, after the problem has progressed to a certain point, they will offer you a special ‘deep cleaning’ or other relatively expensive treatment to help take care of your problem. Alternatively, they may refer you out to a periodontist for possible gum grafts or surgery. There is a nice oxygenated mouthwash called therabreath that might be helpful.

I can not imagine that sounds good to anyone reading this. Therefore, I might suggest that you focus more on the prevention of gum disease or stopping its progression once it starts.

Many people are surprised that they have gum disease. If the statistics are accurate, there should be no surprise. Those numbers tell us that up to 80% of people have some form of gum disease. Oramd is an interesting possibility. Learn what you can do to prevent this potentially costly problem from visiting you and our family. Learn to prevent gum disease or stop its progression today. Look below the disclaimer to find links to additional information.

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/nappy-gingivitis-breath.html"></g:plusone>

The new affectionately slanderous and in vogue slur among today’s youth: "You have nappy gingivitis breath"! This is usually followed by an even more endearing taunt which we can’t repeat here. I am quite sure your imagination is funcioning quite well at this point.

Though said in good fun, some people really do have gum disease and gingivitis – and often, but not always, this is accompanied by bad breath. This is also known has ‘halitosis’.

There is something slightly ironic in this innocent sounding ‘bust’. Many of the people who bandy it about may very well have gingivitis themselves! Yes, the stats tell us that up to 75% and some say 80% of the population may have some form of gum disease right now!

The worst part is that many who have it, do not even know. In time this problem can lead too lose and lost teeth. Many people don’t even realize that they have been nursing an unhealth case of gum disease until the dentist or periodontist tell them.

The sad thing about this is that once the teeth become lose, they may want to do surgery on you to correct the problem. People seldom get gum disease in one isolated area. This could spell a great financial burden. Something like Oramd could help.

It can be expensive to lose teeth and have implants or dentures created. In both cases, you really have to realize that the substitute is not as cool or good as the real thing.

A bit of know how and prevention knowledge could make a big difference. Such information could allow you to avoid expensive dental treatments and keep your teeth for a lifetime. Regular brushing and flossing may not always be enough to prevent gum disease. If it was, would so many people have it? Ummm – probably not. ‘An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure’.

Yo, you might have nappy gingivitis breath and not even know it!

<g:plusone size="standard" count="false" url="http://www.betterconcerts.com/whats-so-incredible-about-that-hydro-floss.html"></g:plusone>

Since I began offering the Hydro Floss oral irrigator at the Toothy Grins Store, I have had the good fortune to speak to many people.

A very interesting conversation occurred this past week. A gentleman from Minnesota called me and we had quite a conversation.

He was looking to purchase a hydro floss for his own use. I typically ask people if they have used one before and I have grown used to people telling me how much they like the hydro floss and how it has helped them personally kind of like therabreath.

This time, a slightly different story came forth. He was initially told about the Hydro Floss by his hygienist. This is not unusual at all, many dentists and hygienists recommend the Hydro Floss to their patients.

But he took things one step further. He has two friends, one is a periodontist and one is an oral surgeon and he asked them both about this device. He was surprised to hear that they both personally use the hydro floss.

But the oral surgeon did something a little differently and it was an eye opener for me. It is one of those moments when the ‘light bulb’ came on.

She also uses the Pocket Pal Jet Tips. This surprised me because I had believed the Pocket Pal’s were only needed for people who had 5 to 6 mm pockets. Well, you can bet this person, an expert on oral health, has gums that are in good shape. SHE uses the pocket pal jet tips as a preventive measure.

I hadn’t considered this before. While the regular tips are made to be used at right angles to the teeth and gums. The pocket pals are used to shoot water directly into the pockets.

So, I thought something like, “It makes sense to use them to maintain / improve the health of gum tissue”. Since that conversation, I’ve been using the pocket pal jet tip after my regular use of the Hydro Floss and I think it is a good practice for me personally!
