Fender American Standard Stratocaster Short Evaluation
Playing the Fender Stratocaster is perhaps the ultimate expression of modern guitar chic. The Fender American Standard Stratocaster series gives an old-fashioned vintage vibe. However, the American Regular series strats can price close to a grand. For the much more budget-conscious, the Fender Stratocaster Standard is another option.
The Fender Stratocaster, also known as the “Strat”, is a model of electric guitar created by Leo Fender, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares in 1954, and manufactured continuously by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation until today. The Fender Standard Strat is made in Fender’s Mexican factory and is really a step up from the Squier. Obtaining a Fender Regular Stratocaster is an affordable method to go into the Fender brand that represents top quality instruments.
Sound:
It has a sound very comparable to the American strats, but the American series strats can sustain longer, and also the lower finish strings are brighter and more crystalline, while the sound in the Fender Standard Strat is rounder. Plus it holds distortion and clarity truly nicely. It is perfect for crunchy, driving rock and blues sounds.
The bridge pickup of this Standard Strat produces that iconic twang, the neck pickup is more of a deep crunch, and also the middle pickup and combinations give you every thing in between. In the event you use it with an amp along with a pedal, it gives an amazing Hendrix feeling.
Overal:
This Fender American Standard Stratocaster Strat should have an 8 taking all issues under consideration. If you are are looking for an excellent sounding guitar, it’s certainly a ten. If you are searching for great value, it’s 11! However, while it sounds excellent, it does have limitations. It is excellent for blues, difficult rock and clean jangley sounds. But it’s not excellent for metal and definitely not jazz. But overall it’s a great guitar with great versatility. It’s worth to consider, whether it is your primary or secondary.
