Most parents believe that online games are not good for the kids. Some parents even think that online games weaken the eyesight because kids stare at the screen for prolonged periods of time. Other parents think that online games, especially shooting games, make their kids violent. But different researches and studies show that gaming are also beneficial to kids. In fact, there are a number of intellectual and emotional growth that can be attributed to online gaming. These skills vary from the ability to socialize in the virtual world, increased emotional and intellectual intelligence and the ability to manipulate the computer.
Research has shown that children who play sniper games are more agile and have increased eye-hand coordination than other children who are not into online gaming. This skill can benefit the child as he grows up. When a child plays online games, he gradually gains knowledge on how to operate the computer starting from the basics until he is able to understand and operate even the most complex programs in the internet.
This skill is highly in demand in the employment world today. It would be good for the child to learn these things early in his life. Playing other games can also give the kids the ability to multi-task. Online games like “Diner Dash” and “Cake Mania” make the kids run after time and in the process, makes them learn how to allot their time and help them avoid procrastination.
There are also online games which increases the logical skills of the child. Many online games train the mind to think fast, think systematically and increase the ability to rationalize. Puzzle games in the internet also increase the child’s ability to recognize shapes, patterns and putting them together to form a perfect fit. There are children suffering from poor memory.
Memory games in the internet can help them expand their memory and be able to remember the things that they have previously seen. It also helps them retain the shapes and colors that they have previously seen and match them with the ones they are presently seeing. Online games give so much more than fun and excitement.
