How To Import Netflix Into GetGlue
Many Netflix users also have accounts on GetGlue.com, the social network that lets you share what movies you watch and enjoy with your friends. If you’re a long-time Netflix user, you may have reviewed and rated dozens, even hundreds of films on the Netflix system. You can easily import your Netflix ratings and reviews with your GetGlue account by using the free third-party Web service, Import2Glue. When you import your Netflix ratings into GetGlue, any Netflix review with one or two stars imports as a “Dislike” on GetGlue, while any rating between three and five stars imports as a “Like.”
1. Visit import2glue.com and click the “Step 1: Authorize Netflix” button in the lower-left corner of the page. The page redirects to the Netflix application-authorization page.
2. Log in to your Netflix account, if prompted. If the computer is already logged in to a different Netflix account, click the “Log Out” link, and then log in to the correct account.
3. Click the “Yes, Link This Account” button to link your Netflix review account to Import2Glue.
4. Click the “Step 2: Authorize GetGlue” button in the middle of the page. The page redirects to the GetGlue application-authorization page.
5. Log in to your GetGlue account, if prompted.
6. Click the blue “Allow” button in the middle of the page to allow Import2Glue to import your Netflix content to your GetGlue account. The application may take several minutes to complete the process. When Import2Glue finishes importing your Netflix information into GetGlue, the page redirects to a confirmation page that displays a blue “Finished!” graphic.
If Import2Glue imports more than 25 reviews from your Netflix account, this will earn you a Critic’s Sticker on your GetGlue account.
If you use Import2Glue to import your Netflix reviews, only the first 140 characters of your reviews will show in your GetGlue account.
