Canon EOS 60D : Great Upgrade From Rebel XT
I mainly upgraded towards Canon EOS 60D for the ergonomics and found during the last few months that the actual flip out screen is usually great when put away as a way to protect the screen. if the screen is out of sight it could help you learn (like the item did me) to spray confidently in manual method without reviewing photos right away after capture. It has also helped me become really efficient at adjusting shutter, iso, and aperture settings for the fly under changing light conditions in manual function.
I have large palms, this Canon 60D is and than any Rebel. that fps is good, but i’m not really a machine gun shooter, so whatever.
“L” lenses feel better plus much more balanced than with the particular Rebel line. I also think picture quality is slightly better than the t2i, just my estimation.
Canon doesn’t market this as being weather sealed, but and also exist. Not as much to be a 1D camera or this 7D, but seals do exist..just google the diagram. I have used this particular in heavy rain with full confidence, no issues so far.
battery lasts FOREVER. I can go for a 3 day trip and never have to dig through my suitcase with the charger, even after many of shots. I also love the ability save mode which doesn’t require you to definitely physically turn the camcorder off, EVER. The power switch is definitely set to the “on” location.
Build quality is great, I don’t really know why people are fussing about it being crafted from polycarbonate. This is a similar material Magpul magazines are manufactured from. Its less as compared to 1k, what do anyone expect? I consider it some sort of steal for what you get free from this camera. Its essentially a 7D without the fps as well as a few gucci features.
parallel the Canon EOS 60D, i’m still saving up for any 5Dmk3 whenever it equates. The 60D will next become my backup.
