In photography it isn't just the technical aspects of it.  A photographer with a good personality is needed to interact with the crowd.  As a San Diego photographer who has done a lot of weddings it makes a difference.A person who is charming will be able to get a lot out of the group of guests.  Remember the guests make up a great part of the memories as well.
